It is exactly 371 days after 13th September 2013, when the journey took a new twist. It was among the days that a great mileage was gained in my democratic world. It was a day of victory that would come with all sorts of unexpected events that would heavily shape the tread. It was that day that a majority of the Moi University Students made a choice of their leader in me. As expected, jubilant supporters of #TheDream rented the air with chants of victory. They had planned, acted and realised #TheDream of a new breed of leadership for MUSO. This was among the most humbling moments in my journey. I was lost for words to make a victory speech. The kind of love that was evident melted my heart. It was an amazing experience that will forever stick in my memory. It took a short time for the dust to settle down.
